Bismillah

Today, Jummah, I went to work at the Islamic school. Since the original teacher was not here today I taught the Kg the entire day. Usually I only am there for two hours so that she can take a break. Well it was interesting, I made up a story for them on the spot and spite it out to them… they loved it, it was crazy they were in such excitement. I was very happy. But then a strange thing happened when it was time for me to leave (12 O clock) to get my husband from work for Jummah. I set all the kids down to watch a movie after we cleaned and straightened up the room for Jummah.

I then went up the stairs and to the other building in order to tell brother the principle I was leaving. I did this so he could come down and watch the kids for a while , until I got back. I told him that a parent was down there at that time and then I left. When I came back I found out that no one was watching the kids while I was gone. One of the teachers tried to get on me about it… I was like, well brother Malik new that I had to go so it’s not my fault no one came down to watch the class. I don’t know why it made such a fuss, they were only watching a movie and being good. When I came in they where just sitting down where I left them. Apparently the principal miss understood me, he thought I was saying that the parent that was down with the kids was going to watch them while I was gone. But I didn’t say that…. Alhamdulillah, it was strange though, the rest of the day I kept having teachers come to me about the situation asking if I got in trouble and what not..Every Friday I leave at the same time to get my husband for Jummah, the only problem was this time sister Shaziyah wasn’t here to watch them while I left. Alhamdulillah, it all worked out though.
