Bismillah

I can close my eyes and see her for the first time looking up at me wraped in a little cloth laying in my arms. She started crying a little after she was out into the world. I slept in the hospital that night just the two of us and a person I shared the room with. My husband couldn’t stay with us because I had to share a room. I stayed in the hospital for three days I beleive, I was hurt pretty bad… Alhamdulillah. 7:09 p.m. Dec. 23 2003 she was born… Now

A year later, needless to say today is her birthday!!!!! One year old and growing fast. She is having a party Insha’Allah on the 26th. And then the 28th is my birthday… I’ll be 21 Insha’Allah. All is currently fine, just a blizzard and a serouise amount of snow… but Alhamdulillah

stores of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s)

One day our 6th Imam, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A) was sitting with a group of friends eating some grapes, when a man came and asked Imam (A) for help.

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A) gave the man a bunch of grapes. The man did not take the grapes and asked Imam (A) for money.

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A) told the man that Allah would give him that. The man started to walk away then came back and asked for the grapes. Imam (A) told him that Allah would give him that.

A little while latter another poor man came and asked Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A) for help. Imam (A) gave him a bunch of grapes. The man took them and thanked Allah.

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A) then gave the man some money again the man thanked Allah. Imam (A) then gave the man his shirt, who took it and went away praying for Imam (A).

If the man had continued thanking Allah for what Imam (A) was giving him, then Imam (A) would have continued giving until he had nothing left to give.

Moral:

Whenever you get anything remember that although it may be from someone, Allah has wished for you to have it. So not only should you thank the person who has given it to you (Jazakallah) but also thank Allah (Alhamdulillah).

Really touching

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he
Had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom, and knowing
his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation
his father called him into his private study.

His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told
him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift
box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Holy Qur’an.

Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, “With all your
money you give me a Holy Qur’an?” and stormed out of the house, leaving the Holy book. He never contacted his father again for long long time.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was
very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him
since that graduation day.

Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him
his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he
arrived at his father’s house, sudden sadness and regret filled his
heart. He began to search his father’s important papers and saw the
still new Holy Qur’an, just as he had left it years ago.

With tears, he opened the Holy Qur’an and began to turn the pages. As he
read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the
Holy Qur’an. It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who
had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss ALLAH blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

If this touched your heart, please pass it on
